And sometimes… which one doesn’t get the chance at all?
It was heartbreaking.
We quickly realized that donations alone weren’t enough to close the growing funding gap. Shelters are overwhelmed, under-resourced, and constantly forced to make decisions no one should have to make.
So we asked ourselves a simple but powerful question:
What if everyday pet purchases could become part of the solution?
That question became our mission.
We built a sustainable rescue model — one powered by the products pet parents already buy. By turning playtime into purpose, we created a way for ordinary purchases to create extraordinary impact.
